PROMPT: 30 Lemons #29 The Conservatory, or, "Making Sweet Music"
AUTHOR’S NOTE: I’m not sure where the heck this one came from. I think I just came up with the title (an old slang term for rock ‘n’ roll music, back when it first came out) and took it from there. In execution, this was inspired partly by the urban legend of famed blues musician Robert Johnson (which also inspired the ‘Crossroad Blues’ episode of the TV show ‘Supernatural’), and partly by the manga/anime Kuroshitsuji aka Black Butler (the manga is available now; the anime has been licensed for english, and should be out sometime next year).
Also, the original version of this is quite a bit longer, but I was pressed for time for an entry and the rest is just narrative; if you're interested, the full version should be up on my personal LJ pretty soon, I hope.
